Our quarterly ecological monitoring survey along Yarra river tributaries recorded increased native bird and arboreal species activity following recent riverbank revegetation efforts.
Transparency remains central to our mission. This year, 85% of total foundation funds went directly to on-ground landcare, sapling purchases, and field restoration tools across Victoria.
Following months of careful seed collection and nursery care, our local native plant nursery has successfully raised its first batch of eucalyptus and wattle saplings. These saplings are now acclimated and ready for autumn community planting days.
Last weekend, our field team joined 45 local community volunteers along Western Port Bay. Together, we planted native saltmarsh vegetation across two hectares of tidal shoreline to help stabilize the bank and restore native fish nursery grounds.
